What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a technical illustrator with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. The type of illustrations I provide is instructional manuals, product infographics, and photo-realistic product renderings. My clients are usually creators of new products, from small everyday devices to large architectural concepts.

Tell us about yourself

I was born in Bucharest, Romania, where I studied both Graphic Design and Architecture. After graduating from Art University, I started working as a full-time freelancer on international freelancing platforms. Since then, I have constantly worked on refining my own style, specializing in Technical illustration. I love working on projects that challenge me, like complex technologies (ex., aviation, nutrition science) or futuristic projects(NEOM desert project).

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has the freedom to do what I like and when I want.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing is managing time: working on new projects, spending time with my three children, and traveling around the world.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. At the start, try to gain experience fast and set your goal to be the best.
  2. Challenge yourself, don’t be afraid to work on difficult projects.
  3. Respect your work and customers.
