What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our business is all about health and lifestyle, which focuses on wellness such as Health Supplements, Skincare, Organic, and the rising industry of aromatherapy/essential oils and diffusers and giving an opportunity to have an extra income for those who are looking for a home-based business. Our customers are those who are wellness-oriented and those who want to look and feel good.
Tell us about yourself
Growing up with a family business back in the Philippines was my foundation. I’ve seen my family prosper in the wholesale and retail business. At a young age, my parents gave me the opportunity to witness the benefits and advantages as well as the challenges of having a business. My forte develops and emerges that by having your own business, you could not just improve your personal life but can also change other people’s lives.
I am inspired by the people around me; as a working mom and a supportive wife, I’ve wanted to see myself seeing my daughter grow while being with my husband growing our legacy business. Also, it motivates me to see other people have trusted us in this life-changing journey. Our staff, our team, and above all, our valued customers that continuously patronize our products that have impacted their wellbeing.
Hearing my customers about how positively affect their health motivates me to innovate in search to better our customer’s wellness untiredly and provide a sustainable home-based business wherever they are in the world.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I believe my biggest accomplishment as a business owner are building a legacy in a foreign land and being one of the first licensed Canadian Direct Selling companies that operate in Canada. As a proud immigrant, I’ve learned that with great determination, perseverance, and with a big Why, nothing is impossible regardless of which part of the globe you’ll be.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As for me, one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is sacrificing some of your time to build it. I know most business owners experience this; you need to put more time into managing your business firsthand, learning all aspects of your business. It takes time, there will always be sleepless nights, but in the end, it’s all worth it. I’m not just building a business but a legacy.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Make a solid business plan, Define your Why and Focus on your passion.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Do not be afraid of trying new things; when you fail, you learn. Success is the result of many failures; always be trainable and willing to be coached, and never stop learning.
