What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Board Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Holistic Chef & Nutritionist, Herbalist, Yoga teacher, writer, and educator. My clients are primarily women seeking greater health, balancing hormones, managing stress, and unlearning patterns of burnout and poor boundaries. Through one-on-one sessions, group cleanses, and classes, they learn to re-align with nature's rhythms and how to deeply nurture themselves and their families.
Tell us about yourself
My own health issues and those of my mother led me to study nutrition, herbal medicine, and traditional healing practices. People want to feel better and understand how to take care of themselves and participate more fully in their healing and life. This constant remembering and re-learning of old ways of living and healing motivate me daily.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I ran a very busy and successful wellness center in Silicon Valley for almost a decade, and we helped many people on their healing journeys.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Balancing work/life balance and asking for help.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start simple and small.
- Get really good at your craft/skills.
- Do the work to lay the foundation for your business, so you are in integrity and alignment.
