What's your business, and who are your customers?

I coach and consult with High-Achieving CEOs, Business Owners, and Entrepreneurs to turn fear into wisdom, pain into fuel, mistakes into unimagined opportunities, and desires into ventures that change their world. I move clients through the pain of setbacks and failures and into their next remarkable chapter of life. There is Life after Failure.

Tell us about yourself

With over 15 years as a small business owner, entrepreneur, award-winning author, and marketing consultant, I bring my experience as a survivor of success and failure to the world of business coaching and consulting.

Becoming an iPEC Certified Professional Coach codifies my years of business experience, a refined set of personal values, and a belief in the power of transformative coaching. I turn creative energy into a laser-focused professional objective to support CEOs, business owners, and entrepreneurs as they expand beyond setbacks and failures into their highest and best selves. With my Bachelor of Arts degree in theology and music from Southwestern University in Waxahachie, Texas, and studied in Arizona State University's Architecture and Design master's degree program. I am also a past member of the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund, serving on its Executive Board of Directors. My other commitments have included PAWS/LA, which assists with the care of pets for people living with disabilities, and KidSmart, an art education foundation for inner-city youth. Currently, he lives and works from his home on the Maine coast.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Bouncing back from a catastrophic failure, recreating myself, and launching a new venture.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The realization that there's only so much you can control
