What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am currently a fitness coach, and I am currently looking to service anyone looking to live a healthier lifestyle.
Tell us about yourself
My older brothers were football players; I idolized their strength and wanted to be like them. Ever since I was a child, I grew a passion for fitness and never got away from it. I'm just motivated to share my passion with others. There is something very self-empowering about being physically fit, and I want the masses to experience that feeling.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I believe it's longevity for me. I've been helping others reach their fitness goals since 2008. The fact that I'm still doing it means the world to me because I've gained trust in my community to help them reach their goals.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing is knowing I have to be responsible for my own sustainability. If I'm not taking care of business, then I'm out of business. Ironically, that challenge is the trill that excites me daily. I love the challenge.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Practice 'Self- Care' so you have the energy to pour into your project.
- Create a business that you're passionate about so that the service that you're offering comes off as a hobby and not so much as a 'job.'
- RELATIONSHIPS ARE EVERYTHING... It takes a very long time to establish trust and seconds to ruin trust. Once you ruin your reputation-- you're done. So make sure that you value your relationships with all your clients.
