Tell us all about your business...

As a Coach, I help Professionals and Entrepreneurs bridge the gap between "knowing what to do" and "actually doing it"!

What's your background and motivation to grow as a business owner?

Working since the age of 12, having been put in countless leadership positions at a young age and, working within diverse teams within various industries, I not only made many mistakes, but I learned, grew, and succeeded.

Through these experiences, I discovered my love for people and pragmatic strategies to help them successfully improve their skills and organizations! Helping my clients achieve their personal, professional, and business goals is what I am honored to do every day and brings me joy!

As an entrepreneur, what does success ultimately mean to you?

The top four accomplishments I hold dear to my heart are the following:

1) Growing my clientele locally, nationally, and internationally in the first five years of business;

2) Being invited as a keynote speaker and panelist in various important events, particularly my solo conference in Paris, France (2018);

3) Creating all my training and coaching materials from scratch in three languages and;

4) Keeping a relatively healthy family & business balance...trust me, this is what I am most proud of, given I have three amazing kids and a husband who is also an entrepreneur with a busy schedule!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being an entrepreneur?

Maintaining strong client relationships, win-win partnerships, and differentiating your business from competitors while remaining true to your values. Clients and partners should not be viewed solely as a means to an end but as complex humans with unique goals, challenges, and perspectives.

Reading between the lines, particularly for professionals like myself, in services industries, is essential to maintaining healthy and long-term beneficial relationships with clients and partners. This is not easily achieved as perspectives, needs, and obstacles are constantly evolving for each of them. An old mentor once told me: '' We have two ears and one mouth for a reason; we need to listen much more than we speak!''

I would apply a similar approach to standing out as a business. As entrepreneurs, we need to also observe trends beyond our industries to adapt our services, products, and operations in unique and efficient ways without losing our business DNA. The three challenges above are still something I am trying to master. However, I have a gut feeling these challenges are not to be learned but somewhat ingrained in our ways of analyzing, brainstorming, and strategically planning what is next.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?

My top 3 tips to entrepreneurs, no matter what stage they find themselves in the entrepreneurship process, are the following:

1) Master the art of saying no: not every Opportunity is meant for you, and You are not the right person for every opportunity;

2) Yes, cash flow is King, but the Queen of cash flow is follow-up! Stop sitting on potential sales – follow up with your leads!;

3) Learn how to learn: learn something new, unlearn what does not serve you, and relearn what you have forgotten.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Entrepreneurship is not for everyone, but some people give up too quickly. Your first or 5th business may not work, but You should not stop learning and pressing forward.

Surround yourself with supportive mentors, coaches, entrepreneurs, family, and friends: ask for feedback and get the training or counsel you need to improve all aspects of your business model and processes and your skills. Eventually, the right business, talents, resources, and approach will allow you to gain momentum and succeed. That is why my life and business motto will always be: LEARN, GROW & SUCCEED!
