What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a Physiotherapy and Registered Massage Therapy Clinic focusing on Sports and Orthopaedics (manual therapy, exercise rehab) & IMS dry needling. We believe in a commitment to excellence. We pride ourselves on the latest, evidence-based practices to help you overcome aches, pains, and injuries. We also believe in building a stronger and more caring community. We do this by not only helping people in the clinic but also volunteering our time to help out with numerous events throughout the lower mainland every year.

We also believe in caring for you and your individual needs. We care for you by listening to what you want and helping you with what you need. We provide integrated physiotherapy services like pelvic health Physio, concussion, vestibular rehab, TMJ dysfunction, manual therapy IMS Dry needling, and Registered Massage Therapy (RMT).

Tell us about yourself

The thing that got me working on my business was the motivation to build a strong and caring community. I wanted to have like-minded people learn about how to heal, recover and rehab from their injuries and aches and pains better because the true satisfaction came in being to help other people connect with how they really wanted to move again. By building a health care team that could help many more within our community was the thing that motivated me each day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The biggest accomplishment as a business owner is seeing many people that I have been able to impact positively. From all the clients we have helped become better at their rehab goals to everyone who has been and is still a part of The INSYNC PHYSIO Family who has realised their life goals and accomplishments while being on the team.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing about being a business owner is being the person who has to do the things nobody else wants to do, to keep toeing the line when no one else wants to, and being the leader everyone needs.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know Your WHY? - What drives you? What are your values?
  2. People always come first!
  3. Develop yourself as a leader.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

How does the business serve your life instead of how you serve the business. Be in control and create what you want to see happen instead of being a victim and reacting to what is going on in your business.
