Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Shelley Marenka, Founder of Inspired Living with Shelley Marenka, located in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Inspired Living with Shelley Marenka is my company name. I am in the business of transforming people's lives thru self-actualization using mindful awareness, self-discovery, and spiritual guidance.

My work is to be an optimizer, catalyst, and guide for expansion into:

  • Your own inner calling and purpose.
  • Your fullest potential.
  • Your authentic power.

Tell us about yourself

Coaching, teaching, and mentoring have been my life's passion and work. I've had the pleasure of working with countless humans aspiring to excel in life and create limitless possibilities for themselves. This work not only lights me up, but it is also incredibly fulfilling.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Serving others is my highest joy. Watching others learn how to believe in themselves, achieve their dreams, and transform their lives is the greatest success I've ever imagined. Helping people to expand into the highest version of their true selves is a remarkably courageous and redeeming thing one will ever do.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Knowing the trends before they happen. Staying on top of your game and being creative! Being on the cutting edge of change. Wearing all the hats of a solo entrepreneur ~ can lead to burnout. Now, there are new ways of working using the Quantum X 10's factor to relieve a lot of that pressure of doing and then burning out.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Always follow your heart and your passion for being happy in life.
Ask your soul for guidance, always.
  2. Really know your WHY ~ deep within your soul ~ because this is going to keep you glued to your commitment when times get ruff. Never quit; just keep course correcting.
  3. Have a long-term vision written out, do your homework, and run your ideas by others who are succeeding in the same business.
  4. Bonus tip: Don't go it alone. Nothing amazing was ever built single-handedly. Outsource projects, collaborate with minds greater than your own, and become best friends with others in your industry for growth, visibility, and joy!
