What's your business, and who are your customers?
We build incredible spaces for client to enjoy their daily lives in new and different ways. Our clients are looking to increase the joy in their daily lives through architecture and design.
Tell us about yourself
I grew up with a mother that remodeled homes and a stepmother who owned an antique store in the Dallas Market Center. I was surrounded by design in many ways. What motivates me each day is knowing that my clients enjoy the spaces in new and different ways that transform how they interact with each other as a family.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is staying in business for 20 years while giving birth and raising three children. The amount of juggling and multitasking required is beyond imagination.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things is knowing that it’s easy for people to criticize you. It’s easy for people to tell you that it might be hard to accomplish things. But have faith in your own judgment. Always follow the beat of your own drum. Don’t listen to the outside noise. It’s just noise; you know your own music.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Think about endurance, courage, and perseverance like toilet paper during COVID. You better find a way to get as much as you can as fast as you can.
