What's your business, and who are your customers?

Imagine waking up every morning feeling positive and liberated. To feel victorious over anxieties, stresses, and worries! To get a direction towards solving all your problems! How wonderful does that feel? In 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Innate Mind was founded to help clients across the globe — offering them a wide range of psychological services to guide them through life's challenges. With the help of my team, we provide our clients with the right psychological tools they need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic circumstances.

Tell us about yourself

I am a Psychologist and Trauma Therapist based in Mumbai, India. Prior to becoming a Mental Health Professional, I worked as an HR in an MNC. For me, work means passion. While working in the MNC, I found this calling in the field of mental health. After giving it some thought, I quit my job to complete the necessary qualifications and pursue my passion! Each day is different at work since I get to work with a wide array of issues that my clients go through. And so, my daily motivation is acknowledging that I made a difference in someone's life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment would be guiding my clients towards healthy living and getting acknowledged by them! I cherish this much more than anything else that I have achieved in my career.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Balance! - Since you are your boss, it can sometimes become difficult to manage work and personal life. When I started my organisation in 2020, I was bustling with energy! However, soon I experienced burnout. It taught me how crucial it is to strike a balance, or else my health would be at stake.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Follow your passion.
  2. Surround yourself with supportive people.
  3. Take breaks when you need them without guilt!
