What's your business, and who are your customers?
Inkery Co. is a content and marketing agency. We give badass brands the content, copy, and aggressive marketing strategies they need to increase sales and impact.
Tell us about yourself
I've always been a writer. When the pandemic hit, people were forced to do business online, and lots of companies got lost in the noise because of bad copy and poor content. I saw this happen over and over to great companies and knew I could help - Inkery Co. was born!
I love giving small- mediums businesses a voice and a strong digital presence. It's beautiful watching them get clear on their message and owning it.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The opportunity to give back. We are a proud supporter of Grace and Glory and offer a handful of scholarships to new entrepreneurs for our marketing coaching group, Marketing Made Easy.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
For me, it's the constant drive. I live and breathe this business, and it's hard for me to wind down and be present.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find the intersection between what you love to do, and something people will pay money for
- Build strong systems and automation as early as possible - SOPs, On-boarding, Off-boarding, Lead generation, etc.
- Learn to pivot and make micro-adjustments.
