What's your business, and who are your customers?
Income School is dedicated to helping people create a higher income for themselves and their families, usually through online business. Our customers range from business owners who want to learn to use content to get more traffic and leads for their business to individuals who want to create blogs and YouTube channels in any niche to earn an income.
Tell us about yourself
I've been interested in business since my early college days. I was studying chemical engineering, but I found myself taking business classes and watching business competitions on campus. While working as an engineer, I dabbled in various business ventures. Eventually, I completed an MBA and had an opportunity to start Income School with my friend Jim. Today, I'm motivated most by the opportunities I get to help people take control of their income.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My greatest accomplishment in business has been helping hundreds of people replace their job income with an income they were able to earn through their own content business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
There's always more to do than just what people see from the outside. Running a business adds dozens of responsibilities that can easily keep you from the main purpose of your work. Keeping those properly balanced is a challenge.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Start simple. You don't need a complicated business model to build a successful business. The simpler it is at the start, the easier it will be to grow it in a sustainable way.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Building and growing a business is one of the most enabling things you can do. Having real control of your own time and income makes it so much more possible. If you have an inclination to even try, give it a shot!
