What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is about supporting organizations, managers, and team members by amplifying diversity, equity, and inclusion from within.

Tell us about yourself

My son Orlando (8 now) is the main reason why I said goodbye to corporate life and started a journey to improve workplace cultures, supporting organizations with creating inclusive workplaces.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Creating the impactful Amplify DEI Summit 2x.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Losing a proposal.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Connect with like-minded people, create your own network, and advocate/promote yourself.

What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?

Setting up boundaries and having an inner circle of support.

Who are some of your favorite entrepreneurs and why?

Ava DuVernay, Oprah Winfrey. They created their own door platform. Sometimes you have to swim in another direction for others to see your value.


If there was one thing you could do repeatedly to help grow your business, what would it be?

Raising awareness about inclusion.

I would like to challenge everyone who is listening to take a step towards creating inclusive environments.
