What's your business, and who are your customers?

Exelico Solutions was founded in 2016 in Vancouver, Canada. We help our clients in multiple ways like Sales support, Consulting, IT support, Lead generation, Customer service, and Office work. Our focus is always on quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction for our clients. Our clients are located across North America, and we have helped customers from UK and Australia as well in the past.

We work with all the businesses that want to grow or need any help and support. We work with all businesses, whether it's an office that needs admin support or a payment processing company that requires reaching out to its prospective customers to expand their business.

Tell us about yourself

In the early days of my Job life, I was never satisfied with living someone else's dream. I had this dream of doing something of my own and always knew I could achieve something big in life. So I worked on a business plan and launched Exelico Solutions in 2016.

It's such a satisfying experience to see the outcome of what we do every day and how it helps our customers manage and grow their businesses. We have been running for almost six years now, and what keeps me going is the fact that I see my dream come to life. Seeing the actual difference, it makes to the lives of our people and clients brings a great sense of accomplishment that never lets you stop.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

At Exelico Solutions, we firmly believe that "Great things in business are never done by one person." They're done by a team of people. ". My biggest achievement is making a stress-free and open work environment for my team. This helps them to be more creative and successful in what they do. The secret mantra is to connect with each person in the team at a personal level to make sure they are happy with the work they do. Happy team more than often results in happy clients. Also, to see the business for which you are working and assisting flourish! The feeling is beyond what words could describe. At present, we have a few clients that have been with us for more than three years now. We saw their growth, and Exelico has been a major driver for them in this entire process gives me a sense of pride. Today, we are helping many businesses across North America that have put their trust in us.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

As a Business Owner, there will be new challenges every other day; the best thing to do is to be prepared and have a contingency plan. You have to face these obstacles for your business to grow and keep moving forward. The hardest things that come with being a business owner of a business like me is hiring the right talent and retaining that great talent. Recruiting the right resources is one of the hardest things, and for the success of Exelico Solutions and our clients, it is crucial to have a great team of astonishing talent.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

To start, run, and grow a business today, people should have good planning and organizational skills. One needs to plan out all the necessary steps to achieve this. Whatever type of business you want to start, following these three tips will work for anyone looking to start, run, and grow a business today.

  1. Plan - To run a successful business, you need to have a business plan before you start working on it. It is important to have a realistic approach to your idea and focus on growth and value.
  2. Be passionate about your resources – You need to be passionate about your people because they are the ones who will put all your plans into action. It's important to make your working environment a healthy place for people so they can work happily and creatively.
  3. Be patient - Starting a business is one thing making it grow another. One must know that it's a time-consuming process. It won't be a smooth ride; there will be hurdles. You must be patient and always have a contingency plan ready for any issue. You must split up your end goal into smaller steps so you can control and evaluate the result better.
