Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and fitness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Erin & Sarit Attwood, Co-founders of ImproveU Solutions, LLC., located in Hollywood, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are Erin & Sarit, and we're on a mission to transform the bodies and lives of millions of women through the same movement, nutrition, and lifestyle habits that have transformed ours. Through our online workout, nutrition, and lifestyle habit-building programs, we will help over 10 million women lose over 100 million pounds and feel alive again.

Tell us about yourself

We have both struggled with our weight, self-confidence, yo-yo dieting, disordered eating patterns, and self-sabotage. Once we were really able to figure it out in a sustainable way, we realized that the weight loss, fitness, and body transformation industry doesn't talk about how to REALLY lose weight and keep it off.

So, after feeling absolutely terrible about ourselves (mentally, physically, & emotionally) and seeing the light at the other end of the tunnel, now both being in the best shape of our lives and having maintained it for over ten years, we realized that we had been given a gift to share with others.

It is now our duty and obligation to help other women to lose weight and gain unshakable self-confidence and permission to be fully themselves, along with giving them the courage and belief in themselves to live closer and closer to their potential... and just be genuinely happy.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our biggest accomplishment is not giving up from the number of times we've fallen and eaten shit. We've grown our business from literally ZERO (no money, no following, no products) to 7-figures annually in 3 years. Lastly, we're very humbled and grateful we've been able to build our team to 12 strong (internally).

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

It's a journey of personal growth and development... and the hardest thing is hiring, managing, leading, and developing people.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. This is a long-term game... don't expect anything to come easy, but expect it to be worth it if you keep pushing through.
  2. Your business will only grow to the extent that YOU grow.
  3. Leaders eat last... if you want to grow something substantial and impactful, be prepared to give to everyone else for a very long time... you will get yours, but be generous.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Don't try doing this by yourself... people are really magic.
