What's your business, and who are your customers?
Impekable is a digital product studio that helps customers achieve their business goals through software product design, engineering, and product marketing. Our customers are high-tech SaaS (software-as-a-service) companies and venture-funded tech or tech-enabled startups.
Tell us about yourself
I was a software engineer turned software designer. I started Impekable because there were a lot of tech startups in the San Francisco Bay area that needed to build good, usable SaaS and mobile applications. I do what I do because I enjoy helping founders and companies realize their vision and achieve their goals through software.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
One of my biggest accomplishments is knowing that we've built a great company that provides great experience, training, and development. Some of our designers and engineers have gone on to work at Apple, Zoom, Facebook, Intuit, and more. I'm also very proud that we've been able to serve amazing companies, including Google, Adobe, and Twilio.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner is being a leader, a manager, and an operator. Those are all very difficult skills and are not taught.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
