Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in leadership development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Tyler Dickerhoof, Host of Impact Driven Leader, located in Spokane, WA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a podcast host and leadership community curator. My customers are individuals who find themselves lost in how to be effective leaders or those who are looking to expand their leadership capacity.

Tell us about yourself

Every day I wake up with the desire to help other leaders get healthy too. For many years, I attempted to lead myself and others, yet I struggled. I struggled because I was fighting barriers that were unknown to me. Through a process of growth, mentorship, and hard-to-accept facts, I was able to come to grips with what was causing so much harm to myself and others. I have committed to developing a community where leaders can link arms and grow together to be the most capable leader possible, an Impact Driven Leader.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Pushing forward in the face of opposition, often from myself.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Knowing when to press on and when to sit in silence to hear.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find mentors.
  2. Prepare.
  3. Create a growth plan.
