What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is providing business coaching to employees and workplace teams. Customers are employees who want to better understand themselves and those with whom they work.

Tell us about yourself

I have always been interested in team dynamics in the workplace. My mission is to increase employee engagement, one employee at a time. I am motivated by bringing authenticity, integrity, and connection of people to one another in the workplace.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

When clients have "aha" moments as it relates to their understanding of themselves and others in the workplace.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Wearing many hats. It is challenging to proceed with business development at the same time as coaching workshops and developing content for social media.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Gather a team of trusted advisors who you can meet to help you stay on course and provide honest and helpful feedback.
  2. Know your audience. Don't be afraid to commit to a certain type. Don't try to meet the needs of everyone.
  3. Know why you do what you do. Have a strong vision/mission statement.
