What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business encompasses a range of offerings, including courses, downloadable products, a hypnosis app, and coaching services. As an author, I also create content related to the law of attraction. My customers are typically entrepreneurial or law of attraction enthusiasts looking to manifest abundance in some way.
Tell us about yourself
I've always had a passion for personal growth and helping others achieve their full potential and making a positive impact on people's lives. This led me to get certified in hypnosis to start creating digital hypnosis programs, then becoming a full-time hypnotherapist, course creator, and then author and public speaker.
What motivates me each day is the opportunity to help others and see the positive changes they experience as a result of my work. Whether it's helping someone overcome a limiting belief, learn a new skill, or achieve a goal, the satisfaction of seeing others succeed is what drives me. I'm also constantly learning and growing myself, and I find that working on my business allows me to continue to expand my own knowledge and skills.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As a business owner, I'm proud of a number of accomplishments, but I would say that my biggest accomplishment has been the impact that I've had on people's lives. Whether it's through my books, my apps, my courses, or my coaching, I've been able to help thousands of people achieve their goals, overcome their obstacles, and live more fulfilling lives.
As far as my specific achievements, I'm proud to have published four best-selling books that have helped readers around the world. I'm also pleased to have developed a popular and highly-rated hypnosis app that has been downloaded by tens of thousands of people. I've been recognized as a leader in my industry through various awards and speaking opportunities.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a business owner is dealing with setbacks and disappointments. Whether it's missed deadlines or unmet expectations, it can be frustrating when things don't go according to plan. Finding, training, and trusting the right people after disappointments and setbacks take a lot of time, skills, and patience.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Pursue something you love and that fits within a niche: Starting a business can be challenging, so it's important to choose a field that you're passionate about, and that aligns with your interests and values. At the same time, it's important to identify a specific niche within that field and develop a product or service that sets you apart as the obvious expert in that area.
- Seek guidance and support: Starting a business can be a daunting task, and it's important to seek guidance and support from others who have been through the process. This may involve finding a mentor, joining a business network, or attending workshops or conferences. Having a support system in place can provide valuable feedback and help you stay motivated during the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
- Be adaptable and open to change: The business landscape is constantly evolving, and it's important to be adaptable and open to change. This means being willing to pivot or change direction if something isn't working, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and being open to new ideas and approaches. It also means being resilient in the face of setbacks and having a growth mindset that sees every challenge as an opportunity to learn and improve.
