What's your business, and who are your customers?
Here at Huddy’s BBQ, we are in the business of crafting great BBQ sauces! We have a wide variety of sauces with different spice levels. All our peppers used in our sauces (Thai pepper, Habanero, Carolina Reaper) are homegrown with the help of my 7-year-old daughter. Our clients are anyone who enjoys quality sauce.
Tell us about yourself
A family member inspired me to make my own sauce. It began as Christmas gifts for family and friends, quickly evolving into Huddy’s BBQ. Each day, what motivates me to make the sauce is to hear the positive feedback from people who have tried it for the first time because they always come back for more.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is seeing my product on store shelves and hearing great feedback from our customers.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Having to juggle between my family life, trying to grow a business, and working a full-time job.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Enjoy what you will do because your time is priceless when you work for yourself.
- Set realistic goals.
- Build a vision for your company.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Appreciate the little things! For example, creating your first label and making your first shipment.
