What's your business, and who are your customers?
HRA Billing Solutions, Inc. is a nationwide, full-service billing company dedicated to meeting the needs of medical practices no matter the location. Our team works closely with providers to address and fulfill their needs. We provide the best services available, maintain a high level of personal service, and strive to obtain maximum financial reimbursements by ensuring claims are submitted correctly the first time.
HRA Billing Solutions, Inc. complies with HIPAA privacy and security regulations to ensure that all patient information is secured and protected. Our experienced staff will help providers achieve faster, more sustainable, and cost-effective results. This allows our providers to devote more time to their patients.
Tell us about yourself
My passion has always been the medical field. With twenty years of medical background as a Medical Assistant, I’ve had the opportunity of experiencing different roles. My roles include front office, back office, supervisor, patient care, phlebotomy, and medical billing. Every role has been a learning experience that has helped me achieve my goals as a business owner.
For many years I provided patient care, which always motivated me, but I decided to move on to helping providers. I believe they work hard to provide great patient care, so they should obtain the maximum reimbursement for these services. While working in the hospital setting, I helped a family member with their medical billing after opening their own practice. This was the push I needed to make the big step I thought I would never take, opening up HRA Billing Solutions!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Doubting my abilities and then watching myself succeed. Happy clients put a smile on my face every day!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
No matter how prepared we think we are, every day, we will come across a new challenge. As a business owner, you know the ins and outs of your profession, but at times it can be overwhelming to fully grasp the logistics of the business side.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stay focused on your original goal, and don’t try to do too much at once.
- Join small business owner support groups. These groups can help as you bounce ideas off each other.
- Be patient. Everything starts aligning, and your business growth will come with time.
