What's your business, and who are your customers?
Restorative and Integrative medicine - my patients are those whose Doctors have told them it’s all in their head and they need someone to advocate for them. We bridge the gap between allopathic medicine and everything else that might help patients discover their optimal health.
Tell us about yourself
I started out as a patient advocate and ended up becoming a patient. This gives me a look at both sides and an edge when it comes to navigating the system and being told no.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Becoming a global practice. Being able to build a team (some who prescribe bioidentical hormones, LDN therapy for autoimmune conditions and thyroid) so I could reach more patients. Knowing it isn’t all in our head and that we don’t need to suffer. There are answers out there.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
It’s not 9-5. It’s 25/8 (of course, we set boundaries, but you gotta be there for people when they need you).
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
