What's your business, and who are your customers?
I offer holistic wellness services that assist those that may be feeling trapped or currently stuck in their health journey.
Tell us about yourself
I became passionate about nutrition at 14 years of age. I wanted to learn how one's food choices had an impact on their health. By the time I was 24, my grandmother was very sick and was diagnosed with cancer. I thought surely a change in diet would assist her body. I cared for her for the last 3 months of her life and watched her take her last breath of life in my arms. She was 66 years young. I didn't know how emotions affected one's health, but I saw that 5 years prior, she had gone through life-changing circumstances and was left to live alone after my grandfather left her for a younger woman. I began to dive deeper into how "our story" affects our cellular biology. I now have the honor of working with clients and provide tools to allow them to dissolve the story they have been telling themselves. From victimhood to Empowerment.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Watching my clients make positive shifts in their lives. They may walk in with heavy amounts of stress, and I get the opportunity to watch them get lighter and brighter.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Setting clear boundaries between work and personal life. I love my work, and at times it has become my life.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
If you can think of it, you can create it. See the target; how does that make you feel? Meditate on that feeling and watch it spring to life.
