What's your business, and who are your customers?
Higher Vibes is a movement to uplift all people and support those who have been unreachable, marginalized, and maybe even isolated for one reason or another by promoting the practices used by multiple traditions and cultures that for centuries have globally kept people in a positive mindset.
Tell us about yourself
'Higher Vibes' believe that we find people of like mind at the right time to build positive alliances with. To me, the most important alliances are built off of the positive ideas and practices I share with others. A higher vibe idea is all about accepting that we may have different ways of life or beliefs, and that's ok. My personal hope is that we can promote a business based on practices that believe in freeing people from the ways and thoughts that have been oppressive, repeated, and historically proven unsuccessful. By showing people through my personal journey that you can live in this world, share some similar ideas of the masses and still not indulge in some of the collective practices that make you feel spiritually compromised or that harm others. Higher Vibes idea is to promote peace and eradicate the oppressive practices that have marginalized people due to sex, race, and religion because "support of one another is how we win as a collective." I also want to advise people to do thorough research before buying products through my website HigherVibesOnline.com. Our drop shipper sells all types of spiritual and
metaphysical products used by many different practices. I only try to promote and share the tools I like, such as healing crystals, incense, sound bowls, protection jewelry, tarot cards, candles, and other items that I believe help you stand in your power and your individuality.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Reaching people on a Physical and Spiritual level that some are unable to is my biggest accomplishment. I have people who follow and support my journey at a very high and respected level. I do wish that they would openly support me but intuitively, knowing is good for now.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Anyone looking to start a business understands that paperwork is the hardest and most crucial part of having a business for profit or nonprofit and often is the way that some of the most successful businesses fail, so stay on top of this! It's better to stay small, dot your "i's," and cross your "t's" before going big because you will eventually go home if you go too fast. Most everyday people would agree that keeping up with your monthly bills is hard enough, so you can imagine that this is one of the biggest challenges for a business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- There is no way to skip steps, so be willing to learn from others before jumping in and ask questions. If they are unwilling to answer, they are not your people, so move on, no revenge plots, and with no love lost, just know that wasn't your divine alliance at that time.
- Be organized and stay on top of your paperwork.
- Be gracious to your loyal customers.
