What's your business, and who are your customers?

High Vibes Consulting is a coaching & training business. I coach business-driven individuals battling constant comparison, self-doubt, fear of being seen, and fear of being heard that stops them from showing up on social media to generate leads. I also train & certify coaches in NLP & Time Line Therapy which qualifies them to become a member of the ABNLP.

The Ascending Coaching Academy specializes in Mindset & Health Coaches that want to:

  • Start a coaching business.
  • Have a business and have been facing clients that are out of their scope of skill and want to be better equipped to help them.

Tell us about yourself

I am a first generation immigrant, and my family is from Guatemala. I was in a very abusive relationship in my early 20s and officially left when I was 25. In that relationship, I was cheated on and given Genital Herpes and also suffered from an ectopic pregnancy, so when I left, I was very broken financially, spiritually, and emotionally.

I started solo traveling to cope, but as soon as the pandemic hit, all my distractions disappeared, and I was faced with myself and my demons. I picked up a book by Brian Weiss, Many Lives Many Masters. I was so inspired by the rapid healing he described using Hypnosis that I started to research what Hypnosis was. A couple of months later, I found a course that would certify me, and that is when my entire life changed.

I was certified in NLP, Time Line Therapy & Hypnosis, and I was a business owner making $10k/month six months later. I was entirely out of my $32k of debt. I was putting in my two weeks to travel full-time and jumped on a plane to Greece. Since then, I've become certified to train others in this beautiful practice, and I am motivated every day by leading this industry with ethics & integrity. I love seeing the transformations my clients go through. In just three months, I am speaking to a completely different person, which is fulfilling.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Allowing myself to grow in my business, I started working with women suffering from Herpes & coming out of abusive relationships. My income completely dropped as soon as I realized it wasn't aligned. I've had to do deep inner work and be very honest with myself during the different chapters of my growth.

Whenever I gain inner clarity, I hit $10K within a couple of days. Many people don't allow themselves to grow because of the fear of their income dropping. Still, I've been faithful to myself the entire time, and I am very proud.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The inner work. Being a business owner is the most intense spiritual and personal development journey. Because your income and your abilities are a direct reflection of what's going on internally. There is nowhere to hide in being a business owner. If you want more success, you've got to do the inner work.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

My first tip is to get to know yourself because you are selling a younger version of yourself in some way, shape, or form. And you need to understand how the problem you are promising to solve for people recreated itself in your own life and how you stopped recreating it. You will only know that if you know that, it will be possible to articulate clearly what you do to people; if people are clear, they will not buy.

The second would be to identify what skills you are selling, because more than life experience is needed.

And three, be true to yourself through the growth. You may rapidly grow, and some of your audience will not grow with you. And that's ok. Be true to yourself and allow yourself to grow; don't hold back for other people.
