What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is teaching and inspiring other teachers and women to believe in themselves and live to their full potential. I help teachers learn to master their money so they can live financially free and enjoy their life being teachers. I also help teachers create side streams of income as a creative outlet to welcome more money into their household income.

Tell us about yourself

I first became interested in starting my YouTube channel in 2017 when I stumbled upon teacher YouTubers sharing their lives as teachers on this platform. I began my YouTube channel sharing typical weeks in my life as a first-year teacher. I shared my high and low points, my frustrations, and the lessons I constantly learned as a first-year teacher. There are so many things that school doesn't teach us, and one of them is being an elementary school teacher. I felt very lost and lonely during my first year of teaching. I felt like I kept making mistakes and struggled to find my personal power. I had a strong desire to share my struggles, knowing I wasn't the only teacher who felt the way I did.

In 2020, I started selling the lesson plans I was creating for my classroom on Teacher Pay Teachers and advertising them on my YouTube channel. I was sharing how to teach each concept and activity using the resources I made on my videos. Once I saw the potential selling on Teachers Pay Teachers, I decided to make High-Vibe Teaching an actual business. I not only help teachers in the classroom with lesson instruction and activities, but I help them deep on a soul level as well. I launched "The High-Vibe Teaching Podcast" in December 2020, where I mentor teachers on taking care of themselves and manifest their goals into reality. I am a one-on-one coach working with my client's Human Design charts and their energy. I mentor teachers on how to live in alignment and love their lives teaching.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is starting High-Vibe Teaching in the first place. I was let go from my first teaching position, which led me on a spiral of finding my soul and my reason as to "why" I did become a teacher in the first place. After years of self-discovery and digging deep (something I teach and emphasize with my clients), in 2 years, I created two businesses and created 12 streams of additional income, including cryptocurrency and investing in rental real estate.

My husband and I moved to a new state and city (Las Vegas, NV), where I was hired at my dream elementary school, where I was appreciated and accepted. I am proud that I stayed honest with my worth and manifested this reality for myself. At times, I was so lost, confused, stressed, anxious, and depressed during my soul evolution. I'm just so grateful that I continued through those times, going through the unknown and building trust with the universe again.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things for me personally was building my self-worth and personal power to create my offers and know they were a good idea. I spent a lot of time overthinking and limiting myself and my business. I had a lot of limiting beliefs deep around selling my products and chose to heal some money wounds around money. Learning to work with more feminine energy in life has been a great experience, but it does get hard sometimes. Activity choosing to dig deep when feeling off/triggered takes a lot of energy, but it is worth it in the end! Now I teach my clients how to do the same!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Start now and move with your inspired ideas! Take inspired action! Your ideas for a business are there for a reason, a deep soul reason. Dig deep and figure out what it is. You can be a successful and impactful business owner and live your life's purpose at the same time while doing what you absolutely love.
  2. Start tracking and become aware of the moon's cycles and use the moon's energy to create goals and follow through with them. I credit working with the energy of the moon for creating so much progress and success in my life. I teach you how to do this in my membership and masterclass. If you never set or write down your goals, how do you know if they actually manifest?
  3. Start to work on your relationship with money NOW. If you are setting goals to create more money in your life, make sure you are intentional with how you are living your life with money in mind. How are you thinking and speaking about money? Do you tip and pay your bills with gratitude? Are you madly in love with money? Is money your best friend? Do you trust money? All of this matters!
