What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a gut health coach, and I help people with irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, chronic diarrhea or loose stool and constipation, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and colitis), invasive candidiasis, and conditions that arise from gut health issues like joint pain, UTIs, brain fog, mental health issues, autoimmune disease and more find the root cause of their problems and reverse them naturally.

Tell us about yourself

My gut health and autoimmune issues got me started in this field. I'm motivated by a desire to help people find the root cause of their suffering and educate them on how to reverse it and get healthy using functional medical tools when the conventional medical system has failed them.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I launched a podcast on gut health in 2018 called "The Perfect Stool: Understanding and Healing the Gut Microbiome," which has grown successful enough to be a sufficient source of lead generation for my coaching business.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Generating new business is one of the hardest things.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Pick a marketing tool that you like and devote yourself regularly to it. Don't try to diversify too much, or you'll lose focus and won't grow an audience anywhere.
