What's your business, and who are your customers?
Helix Candle luminaries rents elegant and sophisticated candle lighting options for weddings, corporate events, spas, restaurants and hotels, home staging, outdoor pools, and interior design.
We decorate and light up candle luminaires with LEDs or real flame, depending on safety regulations. We rent to brides, wedding planners, event decorators, florists, retailers, restaurants, hotels, spas, and clubs.
When venues don't allow real flame, brides are stuck with very few options to light up their weddings. When they want the real flame look, Helix candles use warm LEDs to light up the wax/handmade luminaries. For outdoor events, Helix Candles is an ideal way to light up paths, entryways, or the perfect way to show your guest the way to the venue. A path lid up with Helix Candles is a perfect way to welcome your guests.
Tell us about yourself
I had been researching different types of wax for a project early on in University. Inspired by events as I was a part of the industry, Helix candles was born. Just to see the before and afters of events that are lit up with helix candles is fascinating and keeps us going.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Through decorating and lighting up these events, we are fulfilling the dreams of so many brides. Looking at their faces light up is one of our biggest accomplishments.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Keeping up with the ups and downs of seasonal events.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
