Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Heidi Aderman, Founder of HeidzAlyn Coaching, located in Jacksonville, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

Busy professionals easily figure out how to have time for everything they want to do by playing a game.

Tell us about yourself

In third grade, I decided I was going to be a rock star, and it took meeting a coach and surrounding myself with abundant thinkers that made it easier to reach my music goals. My process became my game AchieveBet so that everyone can have time for what they want to create.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Figuring out a mental process to overcome fear and doubt. I used to spend a lot of time in this head space. Starting my own business was more terrifying than hourly employment. I had lots of chances to practice redirecting my fears into productive thoughts. I've become much better at this habit than in the past.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Learning to let go and delegate or ask for help. Yes, this is your business and your creation, but discovering who your team is and creating a process for working with them can be challenging.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Imagine what you want to build in as much detail as possible, and don't worry about how you are going to do it. See it clearly and believe you can do it.
  2. Surround yourself with successful people who can give you insight into their life so you can better understand how you can create success for yourself.
  3. Build a board of directors for yourself that you can confide in, and that will help you through what is difficult for you.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

You can have time for anything you want to do, but it starts with putting in the mental work to build more effective processes for how you think. Aim for processes that make you feel better mentally, physically, and in relationships with others. When you feel good, it's easier to do things. Right? When you do the right things, you get the results you want.
