What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach - I work with clients one on one to help them identify and reach their health goals - specifically clients with digestive issues, who need nutritional support and guidance, and those with anxiety.
I'm also a writer with two published books and clients in the health, wellness, and medical communities. I help my clients create content for their blogs, books, websites, articles, and social media that they can use for their own businesses and personal projects. Though my writing has been primarily in wellness, I also do creative and humor writing.
Tell us about yourself
I've always loved to write and work with others. I also have a long history of health issues, especially digestive conditions, so I bring personal experience and passion to my coaching and writing. My work is well-researched, but I also work from a personal knowing and understanding of the frustrations that come with chronic illness.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Creating a steady stream of work with loyal clients who rely on my creativity, support, and services. Being approached by high-level brands and individuals to work with them. Publishing two books.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Managing your own time, income, and rhythm for working.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be persistent but patient.
- Lean into what you love, not what you think you should do.
- Don't compare yourself to anyone else.
