What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am the busy mama's body, mind, and soul coach! I help busy mama's to gain the strength and confidence they crave, reclaim their body from burnout, lose weight, learn to breathe throughout the day so that they can live fully energized lives with their families!

Tell us about yourself

I started my business because I was the mom who had postpartum, who couldn't get the weight off, and who struggled with confidence in myself. Being a dancer my whole life, this was not something I was used to. I went to work at a gym at the front desk. I took classes and was eventually asked to get certified to teach. I taught yoga, barre, Pilates, boot camp, muscle conditioning, POUND, and eventually became a personal trainer. When I put together my knowledge of dance and all the certifications, I came up with a way to help myself. I started to help other women who were having the same issues and was blown away. I love what I do! I love helping other women come into their bodies and minds to feel strong, confident, and calm again!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is seeing the "AHA" moments in my clients' eyes when they get something for the first time! The way they start to give themselves grace and talk differently about themselves and their bodies!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about owning a business is learning all the technology required! I was the trainer at the gym who had to call for help every time the system updated!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Run your business. Don't let it run you. There's a fine balance that needs to happen between family, yourself, and your business.
  2. Don't give up! If it's your dream, then keep reaching for it!
  3. Hire a coach! Coaches are amazing people. Find the right coach for you, and who knows about your line of work. Don't just grab the first one you see!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Embody your brand! Embrace it and embrace all of you that you put into it!
