What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a manufacturer of the cleanest plant-based sprouted snacks (nuts, dried fruits, and energy squares), unprocessed protein bars, and functional powders on the market.
Tell us about yourself
I started the company in December 2014, and my mission was to create the cleanest, whole food bases and plant-based products on the market. I was a part owner of a plant-based restaurant and transitioned to manufacturing products since most of what I found today was laden with chemicals, unnatural additives, and natural flavors.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Manufacturing protein bars for TB12 and now currently working with 20 professional sports teams and their athletes.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Day-to-day operations and rising costs and, more importantly, educating the consumer as to the cleanliness of our products and educating the consumer about our sprouting procedure and its benefits.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Know your industry, research the competition, and always stay one step ahead and lastly, never compromise your product.
