What's your business, and who are your customers?
Headwaters Physiotherapy provides cutting-edge, patient-centered rehab for everyone in the community! We are a multidisciplinary health care clinic that uses current best practice guidelines in every treatment plan. We offer Physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, athletic therapy, kinesiology, acupuncture, Pilates, pedorthics, and osteopathy! We also provide off-the-shelf and custom brackets in solution for your orthopedic needs.
Tell us about yourself
I opened Headwaters Physiotherapy in 2014 and have been working hard there since. Making a difference in people’s lives each day is what motivates me to keep doing what I do! It is a gift to work so intimately with the public.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The reputation and growth we have developed over time. We have prospered during difficult times and continue to improve with each passing day. It also brings me a lot of joy to watch staff grow professionally.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Focusing on the big picture. It is so easy to get bogged down with the daily minutiae and putting out the fires daily. However, you have to remember to step back occasionally and look at the big picture. It changes your focus!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Just do it- don’t think too hard about it. If the passion is there, it will be successful!
- Remember that it is not easy- being a business owner is HARD- but worth it.
- Continue to grow every day- there is always something to learn. Never become complacent.
