What's your business, and who are your customers?
Harmonious Hearts Healing is a place to heal your Mind, Body & Spirit. I offer Energy Work, Trauma Work, Inner Child Work, Empowerment, Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression, and various healing modalities for complete healing. My clients are people who are struggling with life, work, relationships, anxiety, chronic pain, and oftentimes, a lack of self-worth, typically from their unhealed trauma.
Tell us about yourself
I created my business after healing years of personal trauma that started in my childhood and went well into my 30s. I had gotten to the point that life held no joy for me, and I knew I had to do something, so I dove into healing and used every form of healing & service I could. I emerged from that dark place and realized just how much life I had missed out on. Knowing people were living this way pulled at my heart. I knew what I needed/wanted to do and focused on my education so I could create a healing business that would serve all my potential clients' needs instead of bouncing from one healing professional to the next.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is having a client come in barely able to complete a full sentence or thought because their trauma has them so locked in this revolving door of anxiety, fear, and worthlessness, and watching them emerge into a strong, powerful, confident person who knows their worth, stands in their power and is conquering life!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Getting yourself seen and getting new clients is one of the most difficult things. Some people don't want to come to my office because it is in my home. I can see where they may be unsure because it's not a professional building, but I created this space in my home so my clients can have full privacy and quiet. Once they do come, they relax, and it's wonderful!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be sure that you have a great plan of action in place. Know what you want your business to stand for and what your goals are, and be very clear about it.
- Be ready to commit, knowing you can do it, but it will take hard work and perseverance. You have to be ready to pick yourself back up every time you fall in order to build a strong business.
- Be confident in what you offer, and don't sell yourself short trying to get customers in the door. You will only lose money and hurt yourself.
