Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Blaire Hall, Owner of Happy Lyon Center, located in Bozeman, MT, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Happy Lyon Center is a wellness hub of alternative healers who focus on healing the spirit, body, and mind through vibrational alignment. We use methods that appeal to all facets of the human experience, including mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual approaches. Inner Lucid Adventures®, HeartMath®, Hypnosis, QHHT®, BQH®, Meditation, Massage Therapy, Energy Work, Emotion Code, Heartsound Reveal®, Nutritional Response Testing, Astrology, and Tarot are just some of the techniques we use. We connect deeply and closely with clients to learn where their vibrations are misaligned and help guide them into better alignment. Through this process, we teach clients how to self-evaluate their own vibrational alignment through practical applications and employ practices that help with coming into better balance. Our clients come to the experience of remembering they are their own best healer.

Our customers are people who know things in their lives are off and are looking for real, soul-level solutions. They have most likely tried many different approaches and have spent a fair share of time falling into line with the mainstream thoughts of looking outside the self for healing. Many of our clients have not yet found the healing which provides lasting & profound changes they desire. Some clients have experienced vibrational alignment and have simply gotten off course. All of our clients are aware there are effects of frequencies of thought, feeling, action et al., and are ready to manipulate those frequencies for the betterment of their lives.

Tell us about yourself

I first started working on the foundations of The Happy Lyon Center when I found myself in great despair after the loss of my husband in 2013. Although I was holding things together on the outside, I was enormously taxed emotionally, mentally, and physically wallowing in the remnants of a wonderful marriage and life with my late husband. A loss like that usually causes separation from most of what and who you know to be your support. It's an incredibly lonely place, even if you're surrounded by people. However, there is a core part of us from which we never separate. There is a place of faith in every one where they know they are enough and they can do what they set their minds to do. This loving part of me was stronger than all of the stresses. I easily connected with myself on a level not afforded to me when my life was calmer and more 'normal,' so to speak. I found the intangible but very real thing which ignited a newfound sense of peace, direction, and passion. It had been a very long time since those feelings of clarity were dominant, but going within brought it back to me. I knew I would make it, and I knew I had to share the awareness of this profound connection within. So, five and a half years after the loss of my husband, The Happy Lyon Center was founded.

Knowing the joy of this rediscovering of the higher self is what drives me every day. I know that the work I do helps others to find that part of themselves where full faith-in-self resides. I believe there is truly nothing more important in life. It's intangible but the most real thing in this world. It's a living, breathing thing with which we all have a connection. Every single move, action, step, and thought I take towards moving the business forward brings it closer to others who are ready to experience such an alignment.

My co-creative practitioner partners and I utilize all of the skills we've acquired in our past experiences to bring together a cohesive, uplifting experience for our clients. We come from varying backgrounds but have one common experience - that of deep connection to self. Each of us brings a different flavor of connecting with oneself.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment has been to learn what vibrational alignment feels like, and how it can be observed, attained, and maintained. I've found it one of the biggest lessons in life to learn how we are often in alignment with some aspects of our lives, yet other parts are misaligned. The attention to finding better alignment gets you in the mode of seeing a progressive change in the directions you desire. As a business owner, I've seen and felt my energy shift and strive every day to maintain the balance of vibration in the directions I want. That comes out in the physical realm by having a lot of bookings influx, and then when the energy shifts, the bookings cancel, move, and shift around to meet my needs. It is instantaneous and an amazing thing to watch in action.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is showing compassion for yourself, alongside the drive to accomplish more and better things. In this line of work, specifically vibrational alignment, we must be kind to ourselves and be joyful for what is. Negativity is detrimental. Knowing this is the first step, but business owners want to achieve something that has not yet occurred in the linear time sense. We are constantly driven to improve processes, services, and experiences. It's a matter of focusing on what's going right in a positive way so that more 'rightness' comes into our physical world. Balance and persistence are the keys.

Feeling fear is never in alignment - that's why it feels so off kilter. Fretting and nervousness are never in alignment. Yet there are so many who use it to propel themselves forward. It's not healthy for your body and not getting you a solid foundation in the things you truly desire - not completely. This realm of forcing situations to come to fruition is not the true reality. It's more like a dance with the universe, and when it feels good, the foundation for success is much more solid. Remembering this, knowing it in my bones, and gently applying it is the most difficult task I've ever faced. It's never boring, but when the lessons are learned, the outcome is the best you could ever hope for and then some.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Go within, go within and go within! Before, during & after. Use your intuition to guide you, and regularly connect with your higher self to know the direct next steps to take. Sometimes the best move is to meditate or spend some time alone in a state of peace.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

You're experiencing lucid dreaming right now. If you wake up, you can gain more control over the experience you have here. Waking up to this alternate reality is gentle and natural. It is what gives you total control over your life. Learn to dance in the sleep-wake cycle, and you learn to master this world. Namaste.
