What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a virtual solution to growing your speech, language, cognitive, and communication skills, one session at a time over Telepractice. We are currently available to individuals who are in California and Florida. Our story continues by giving you the strategies to empower your communication skills. My customers are families who want to support their child with speech therapy evaluations and treatments and adults seeking accent modification services.
Tell us about yourself
Realizing how much I enjoyed being an SLP, combined with my heart for entrepreneurship, motivated me to launch this business and continue providing accessible speech therapy services through telepractice. My clients and their families are consistent with their efforts to come to their sessions and do their carryover activities, which makes progress attainable.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been seeing my clients make significant progress in their speech therapy goals and hearing them say that I changed their life by empowering them to grow as a person and in their communication goals.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is wearing the many hats entrepreneurship calls for, such as marketing, creating content, and handling taxes, on top of providing the one-on-one care each session calls for.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The top 3 tips I'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today are to discuss how to successfully launch your business with a certified public accountant, start it as a side hustle before going full-time, and stay consistent with posting relevant content on social media as you advocate for your field of expertise.
