What's your business, and who are your customers?
It is my goal to help my clients feel better and enjoy a full and healthy lifestyle! Whether that is through helping to increase their energy levels, alleviating chronic aches and pains, or losing excess weight, we want to help them get the most out of life.
I am an independent distributor of NeoLife’s health and wellness products line. There are many nutrition and health supplements on the market, but NeoLife’s are scientifically proven to be the best by far. They are derived from whole foods without all of the filler and additive chemicals common in many popular brands you’ll find at the drugstore or even health food stores.
Tell us about yourself
In 1993 I was a concerned mom who was dealing with a son with respiratory issues. A friend introduced me to Neolife products, and the products made an amazing difference in his health. Although supplements do not diagnose, cure or treat respiratory issues, it is amazing what the body can achieve when it has the right nutrition support. They also helped with the migraine headaches I had suffered from since a child.
I was so excited, I shared our results like a good book or restaurant, and all my family and friends were interested. It didn't take long until they got great results and referred me to their family and friends. I am so passionate about nutrition and helping others achieve their health goals. It makes my day when a customer calls and shares with me how the Neolife products have helped them be healthier.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment was building my business to a level where I replaced my income as a law clerk, and I was able to work from home full time. I loved the time freedom and the fact I was available to be at all my boy's sporting events. As a family, we were able to travel to Disney, British Columbia, Europe, and many other places thanks to the additional income of my business.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest challenges is hearing the "no's" and realizing that everyone is not interested in improving their health. It is hard to understand why some people will not make the lifestyle changes necessary to feel better.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't let fear stop you from your goals.
- I had to grow personally in order to achieve success. I read motivational books, attended seminars, and learned everything I could about my business. The key is not to learn everything first but just get started.
- Ask for help from successful people. It is important to have a successful mentor.
