What's your business, and who are your customers?
Considered by many to be one of Los Angeles’ top coaches, I am the highest-level Master Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, a certified mentor coach, keynote speaker, and trainer. I am the author of the book, Break Free From Your Dirty Little Secret: A Ten Stage Secret Breaking System to a New You.

Tell us about yourself
I love helping people have their lightbulb moment. Realizing that we don't have to live by the rules that were given to us by society, institutions, and well-meaning caregivers creates freedom to explore who you really are, what you think, and how you operate. Letting go of your secrets (the things you've done and the secret thoughts you keep) is a path to freedom. When I help my clients change their lives by stepping out of old constructs, it lights me up!
I got into coaching because I've been a natural coach my entire life. I was a publicist before I was a coach and several people told me that I should consider coaching as a career. I thought it was a fake therapist. After I researched, I was blown away that people get paid to do what I was naturally doing. I jumped in and have never looked back.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Other than being married for 22 years and raising two amazing young men, it is my book, Break Free From Your Dirty Little Secret: A Ten Stage Secret-breaking System to a New You. This is my legacy, and the programs that I have created to go with it are so powerful that women are never the same once they do the work.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Perspective. Even with this question, I had to think about it. I don't find things hard. I love to serve my clients, and I have a team around me who supports what I do. In the beginning, client creation was something I needed to learn, but hard....nothing is hard, accept the way we think about things.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Learn the art of business. Having an idea is not the same as knowing how to run a business.
- Get a coach. It's important to have a support team who can help you to think bigger and clear your limiting beliefs.
- Live within your means. You don't need more, and more won't make you happier.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
We play by these rules because we think they will make us be liked, loved, and feel valued. We play by the rules and stay safe by living a small life that won’t step on any toes. And guess what? Instead of feeling loved and valued, we feel empty and depleted. Why? Because these rules and our secrets keep us from our real self, the powerful, strong self inside us that wants to burst out and have a huge impact – the big impact we were meant to have – what we call your Ripple Effect.
