What's your business, and who are your customers?
My business is a facial spa located in Bloomfield, NJ. My customers are men and women, mainly between the ages of 25-38, who want to improve the appearance of their skin, reduce signs of aging and build confidence.
Tell us about yourself
I come from a law enforcement background, but always had a passion for the beauty industry. Once I started to educate myself on skincare is when I decided to start a business in the industry. What motivates me daily is the goals that I've set for myself. I know this is only the beginning, and I want to leave a legacy for my future family.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is being able to help over 100 other men and women start a brand new business as well.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest part is holding myself accountable and doing those things that I do not want to do.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Take your time, don't let society rush you.
- Educate yourself, make sure you know your industry, and create a business plan.
- Hire a coach to help guide you through the process.
