Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Grace W. Wroldson, author and life coach, based in New York, NY, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a coach, mentor, mother, and author of 5 books for women who love alcoholics and mothers who have to co-parent with a narcissist.
Tell us about yourself
I survived an alcoholic relationship and narcissistic abuse. I wrote my story for others, so they don't feel alone in a hopeless fight for their freedom and children. Every day, I am motivated to talk to other women and mothers to encourage them to keep going, learning, healing, growing, and transforming pain while overcoming their losses. I help them shift into a winning mindset!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment has been diversifying and doing coaching and seeing that 1-1 help really supports mothers, which I know helps feed the children. Having several different products and services supports my business expenses, and I am able to mail out free copies of my books to those who need them.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things about being a business owner is doing it all. So, I have learned to hire freelancers and ask for help.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Get organized. Adopt a plan. Set realistic goals and deadlines. Delegate. Hire great help!
