What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a dance studio for Youth aged 2-18 and Adults as well. We have recreational dancers and competitive dancers.

Tell us about yourself

I got into the industry because of my daughters, but I stay in the industry because of all the youth that needs an outlet. A place to leave their troubles or concerns at the door and are free to let their spirit soar. I give everyone the opportunity to dance. As long as they put in the effort and work, they have a place at Grace Unchained.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The procession of improvement with our dancers. Yes, we have title winners, but the growth that these dancers obtain every year is an amazing thing to watch.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

For me, it is watching some parents struggle to keep their dancers dancing. Financially it can be tough, and I try to do what I can to keep them dancing.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Have a good business plan. Hire the right people and have contracts in place that protect you as a business owner.
