What's your business, and who are your customers?

At Good Agency, we pride ourselves on the values that have shaped us from the very beginning. Integrity, entrepreneurship, excellence, and communication are the foundation of everything we do. We believe that this dedication to our values is what sets us apart from other businesses and is the key to our success. We have helped thousands of businesses move from being discouraged to feeling confident they have found a marketing partner that they can trust, one who can actually help them achieve their goals. We have clients such as Magnify Realty, Wildtree, Stanfield Law Firm, Bytes Managed IT, Avion Wealth Management, and Providence Classical School.

Tell us about yourself

Marketing your business is hard, which is why for the past 15 years, I have successfully served business leaders in marketing their businesses and sharing their stories. As a certified StoryBrand guide, I have worked with brands, big and small, to clarify their message, engage their customers, and grow their businesses. I own multiple businesses, of which I am the founder of Reverent Wedding Films- a multi-million dollar business. I even have my own podcast called Good Business, where I seek to inspire business leaders to continue their pursuit of success while still maintaining their values. I have been a business coach and guide to many entrepreneurs, helping them reach their goals, and I love serving new business leaders.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I would have to say, as a business owner, my greatest accomplishment is growing a business and then selling it.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

I find that all parts can be difficult, but the hardest part for me is setting boundaries so that I can balance all the people in my life, personal and professional, and my duties.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

For starting: make sure you have the right operator - the person running your biz needs to be motivated to win and show passion.

For running: make sure you have the right people, and they are hired out of values and not skill sets.

For growing: it's all about hard work and hustle. The people you see succeeding are putting in the time and effort, and the ones you see not succeeding are the ones waiting on things to happen for them.
