What's your business, and who are your customers?
I created goldno.8 for women like me, who ADORE fashion, NEED practicality, and WANT to express themselves. goldno.8 bags are lightweight, reversible, and durable for ultimate functionality. My favorite feature, however, is that every goldno.8 is a canvas for self-expression.

Tell us about yourself
I launched goldno.8 in 2017 after over 20 years in the fashion industry, working for some of America's greatest designers - including Ralph Lauren and Isaac Mizrahi. From all of my years working for the best in the industry, I learned that many women WANT to have a hand in the design process - and love putting their unique stamp on their outfits.
goldno.8 customers have such a great time customizing their bags! I love seeing customers rock their creations. I get excited every time I hear from a customer or see their photos on Instagram!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am just so happy that we made it through the past two crazy years, and I have my loyal customers to thank for that. With the world upside down, goldno.8 enthusiasts came back again and again to shop the collection. Now that the world is opening back up, I am excited to introduce goldno.8 to more amazing women.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being a business owner is NOT for the faint of heart. You have to have thick skin and be prepared to accept rejection. For every 100 rejections - there is one person that embraces your vision. It is that embrace that keeps me excited and motivated to continue creating!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The number 1 tip that I have is - if you aren't obsessed with your business idea, don't do it. Breathing life into a new brand or business is a 24/7 endeavor. You need to live it, breathe it, dream it.
