What's your business, and who are your customers?
Golden Bloom Wellness is a functional mushroom supplement company that uses quality ingredients and best extraction practices. Our audience would be anyone looking for alternative medicine in a few categories. Brain Health, Performance/Energy, Immune System, Respiratory System, and more. Male or Female from 25 to 60 would probably be the perfect candidate.
Tell us about yourself
I started out in pharmacy and didn't like the way drug companies and how dependent people were on drugs. With Golden Bloom, we can revert back to traditional medicine. Personally, I was always intrigued by mushrooms and mushroom products, and I formerly worked for a CBD company. This kick-started me to really look at them in-depth and go further as a brand.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Seeing everything come together and actually go live. There are so many accomplishments day to day. You can count the small wins as well as the large wins.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
You will learn something new every day. Everything will seem hard at first, but once you accomplish it, you will look back on it and realize it wasn't that bad.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Research what people are looking for and a growing trend.
- Create something that can be sold at a premium. Good packaging. Quality ingredients/materials. Outshine the other brands.
- Use a great marketing team, and yes, it will cost money. (Spend money to make money)
