What's your business, and who are your customers?
Glammed Naturally Oil is on a mission to promote healthy hair product alternatives to the market worldwide. Our company specializes in producing 100% high-quality organic products which are purely safe because it is chemical free. All Glammed Naturally Oil products are beneficial both for men and women of all ages. Both young and old, Glammed Naturally Oil does not discriminate.
Tell us about yourself
In 2016, a few months after I gave birth to my second daughter, I was diagnosed with Postpartum Alopecia. That was the turning point of my life. I began my journey of experimenting with 100% natural and organic oils to make my hair healthy again. Surprisingly, my recipe worked far better and quicker than the majority of products available in the market. Many women who use my products notice the dramatic changes in their hair in a short period of time. At first, I start giving it as a gift to my relatives and churchmates, but then my husband encourages me to introduce and sell it online because he believes in the power of my creation. God wants me to reach more people around the world by helping them with my handmade products.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
One of my biggest accomplishments as a business owner was when I was nominated for the Forbes 1000 next list in 2021. It felt great to be honored by Forbes.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
There are a few of them, but the hardest for me is finding and keeping the right team members. Your team can break or do your business, so doing your due diligence and taking good risks when hiring is the key to growth.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Have a passion for what you do because when it gets really challenging, your passion keeps you going.
- Have a business plan and know your numbers.
- Data-driven results can be duplicated to grow.
