What's your business, and who are your customers?
My customers are those who are looking for bells and whistles—those who appreciate art and are looking for a full service and a custom luxury experience. We take pride in being the one-stop shop for all your photography needs, whether you are interested in a maternity and newborn session, Boudoir and luxury branding, or a family portrait session. We have a beautiful selection of props and backgrounds, an extensive client closet, and we offer hair and makeup on-site.
Tell us about yourself
I have grown and matured as a woman and an artist. Now I focus on not only baby photography but women's empowerment and body positivity.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to branch out in different genres in the photography industry and master my craft. I'm also humbled enough to try to learn something new every day.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Definitely stepping out of my comfort zone and finding creative ways to maintain momentum after all these years. Also, the challenges of a pandemic, the economy, and competition in a luxury market.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't be afraid to fail and get back up because there will be falls.
- Start as a project of passion and find a way to fall in love with what you do every day; money will follow if you are patient and persistent enough.
- Find inspiration in other artists but try to do your own thing, not what's trending.
