What's your business, and who are your customers?
Girl Power Alliance is a Christ-Centered platform for women to grow personally and professionally. We are bridging the gap between personal coaching and peer-to-peer marketing. Women are learning from other women who love Jesus and that are sowing good fruit.
Tell us about yourself
I am one of the Co-Founders at Girl Power Alliance. I am also the Marketing Director and Social Media Expert inside the company. I was first approached by our CEO & Founder Michelle Schaffer in 2020. She cast the vision of what Girl Power Alliance was, and I was completely on board.
The motivation behind everything we do is watching Women deepen their faith in Jesus, and we are all about community. We believe that we are at the pinnacle of the greatest revival, and Women are the catalyst!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As a part Business owner of Girl Power Alliance, the biggest accomplishment is seeing women come into our community and have God-Sized transformations. We are hearing every day that women have been looking for something like this that we have here and have prayed for a place to call home. Women are growing in their faith, businesses, and even their relationships.
We also have an additional Program, Radiant Leadership Academy. This program was created by our CEO Michelle Schaffer, and it was a direct God download. This program was officially accredited through ICF this year, and we are proud to be able to offer something that gives women Biblical Led Leadership that they can add to their achievements and make a serious impact.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing is seeing the fruits of your labor. I think that some people think that starting a business from the bottom is easy and that once you have established the surface-level things, website, social media, marketing, and growth, this is just the start. It's not something you can take time off from.
You must dedicate every single moment to creating your business and continuing to improve. I believe you truly have to be fully committed to your business because there will be times that you need to sacrifice so much, and it can seem like you will never get to where you want to be, but that's the beauty in it all.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know what you want to do and stick with it. You must be so immersed inside what you believe in because people will know if you are not in it.
- Consistency is key. I am sure you hear a lot of Business owners say this, and it's because you MUST stay consistent. You have to show up each and every day. Even if your business is small or starting with just you, if you continue to stay consistent even if you are making $0, whether it is months or years down the road, your commitment to staying consistent will show up, and you will be a success.
- Stay in a constant state of growth. Your gifts and talents are great, but you will never stop growing. For example, if you want to improve your Website Site but do not know how to build one, there are so many videos and training on how to start from scratch. Try to learn something new monthly. Read a new book, listen to a podcast, or watch that YouTube Video. Whatever it may be, we are never completely full of knowledge, and there is always room for growth.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
We are a group of women who love Jesus, who want to see a change in the world, and who want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We want to move forward in His power and not our own, so we can bring His Kingdom's solution to the earth.
We believe that God has called us all from different places, denominations, countries, careers, economic statuses, and passions! He has called us together for a reason! He wants us to rise up together and show people what it means to live in His Kingdom!
