Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Giovanna Capozza, Founder of Love Well Coaching, located in Toronto, ON, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a writer and relationship coach. I work with women who struggle to find a relationship where they feel satisfied, safe, and supported and where they can continue to grow and be the powerful women they know they are.

Tell us about yourself

My own deep desire to find the one, coupled with my continued missteps and relationship disaster, forced me to dive into the common denominator, me! I knew that until I addressed my deep issues of abandonment, anxious attachment, and trauma, I would never be able to thrive in love and find the one. It wasn't until I realized that my relationship blueprint was causing me to go for and be attracted to the wrong men and fix it that I turned everything around. What motivates me is that there are still so many confused, anxious, and frustrated by love. There are so many little wounded girls walking around masquerading as grown women in heels. Deep down, there is so much healing needed not just for them to find love but to realize their worth, and they are the ultimate ONE.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Writing my book has been a huge accomplishment for me recently; when I receive letters and messages from my clients who have finally found a loving partner and a secure connection with their soulmate, it makes me feel the most accomplished. Women who are willing to dive deep into themselves and walk through the fire and burn up what no longer serves them, the habits of thought, the broken relationship blueprint, and all the past traumas, large or small, and reinvent themselves know how worth it this process is.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being a solopreneur can be really isolating at times. It's important to create real-time, in-person connections with others so you don't lose yourself at work.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find a community that feeds you and helps you grow.
  2. Don't read what other people are doing or posting; stay true to your voice and your message.
  3. Create systems and structures that support not only your business but also you personally.
