What's your business, and who are your customers?

We’re a third-wave coffee shop, and we sell espresso-based beverages.

Tell us about yourself

I went to and graduated from culinary school in 2009. I have my A.A.S. In Hospitality Management with a specialty in Culinary Arts. Keeping and growing my business are my main motivating factors!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Continually growing my business each year. We have never had a year where we didn’t have at least 5-8% growth!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Maintaining a worthy staff and keeping them productive.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Work your ass off the first 3-5 years. Do whatever it takes to build momentum and keep at it. Finally, listen to your instincts and stick to your principles.

Work hard, play hard!
