What's your business, and who are your customers?

I help corporate executives that want to escape the corporate rate race or diversify their income and investments and find financial and time freedom through franchise ownership.

Tell us about yourself

I was a young corporate executive that was miserable at his job and felt like I had no future. We wanted to start our family and knew that if I didn't change my career path, I would never be able to see our children every day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have been a successful business owner for 20 years! I love being in control of my time, and it has created an abundance of financial freedom. I have also helped over 1000 people over my career figure out if a franchise is a good fit to accomplish their goals.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Although a franchise offers you a system and training, you are still at the top and sometimes need to make difficult decisions that will benefit the business and all the employees.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Reverse engineer the process and work in reverse.
  2. Figure out if a business is the right vehicle for you, not anyone else but you, to accomplish your goals.
  3. Go for it! If you can fail at something you don't like, i.e., your job, why not take a chance at something you may love, i.e., a business.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

In today's world and the internet, there is an abundance of information. I feel everyone should take a step back and figure out what their ideal life looks like. Not how to create that life, but decide on what your life should look like. From there, create a plan of daily goals and habits you need to create to get there. This is critical to accomplishing any goal. Also, realize that there are no right or wrong goals or visions. We are all unique, and we should focus on ourselves and our families and not worry about what everyone else is doing. When I left a well-paying corporate job, everyone thought I was crazy! Maybe I was a little crazy, but I was focused and had a vision. What's your future look like? Happy to help! : )
